Its a painted fairy-tale coach, but its terribly uncomfortable, described as horrible by the queen.

Where will the coronation take place?

Where will Charles sit when he is crowned?

He will be seated onKing Edwards Chairplaced in the center of the abbey in front of the high altar.

It will be present under the coronation chair for Charles crowning, then returned to Scotland.

The Gold State Coach passes in front of Buckingham Palace during the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in front of Buckingham Palace, London, on day four of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. The King and Queen Consort will travel to the coronation in the modern Diamond Jubilee State Coach and return in the historic Gold State Coach.
