Kaitlyn Conroy

Kaitlyn Conroy is a Lifestyle Editorial Intern for Elite Daily. She currently attends Fairfield University as a rising senior, where she studies English and Editing & Publishing. At school she has held multiple roles in media and editorial work. She is the co-host of “Entertain Us” a weekly live show on the Fairfield University radio station WVOF 88.5 FM. She also is a contributing writer for The Mirror, the university newspaper, where she writes for the Opinion and Vine columns. Last year, she spent the summer at TV Guide Magazine where she was an Editorial Intern. She has published works on their TV Insider website and magazine. In the fall, she was a part of the editorial team for the Dogwood Literary Journal published through Fairfield University. It is a national journal of poetry and prose, which gains submissions from authors all over the country. This upcoming semester she will be joining another editorial team; this time for Apollon, a national academic journal that contains articles written by students. She is looking forward to her summer here at BDG and everything she will learn! Outside of school and work, Kaitlyn is an avid reader and writer. If you hand her a book she will read it, no matter how boring it may seem. She has also been attempting to watch every movie that has won the Best Picture award at the Oscars, however not every streaming platform has the movies so it’s a work in progress. She is passionate about all things pop culture, and will spend hours on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Tik Tok scrolling through her feed (a nasty habit she is trying to break). Kaitlyn also enjoys cooking and trying new foods. Her favorite cuisine to cook is Mediterranean food. However, her all time favorite will always be ice cream.
