AARP caught up with the couple to chat about wedding registries, bachelor parties and love.
Q: How are your families involved in the wedding party?
Theresa:Every one of our family members is involved in the wedding party.
And I can tell you that the ring bearer is going to be my youngest grandson, Henry.
Thats what we can tell you.
His daughters are in the bridal party.
My daughter is, my daughter-in-law, everyone is.
Gerry:Its a family affair.
Theresa:Its a huge family affair.
Q: Do you have a registry?
Have you been getting presents from viewers?
Theresa:We have not been getting any presents.
Gerry:But we do have a registry.
Its the Amazon wedding registry.
Q: I see.
What are you pining for, some salad bowls?
Theresa:How about plates that match or glasses that match?
Theresa:No, we were going to do it sooner.
Gerry:They said back it up to Jan. 4.
You know, we were thinking elope toLas Vegasas soon as the season ended.
Theresa:Hey, were 70 and 72.
We have no time to waste.
Gerry:We dont buy green bananas anymore.
So, you know, the wedding thing is pretty easy to figure out.
