Crimes against female runners are an unfortunate reality that is hard to ignore.
But for me, feeling safe while running solo is broader.
Its about feeling confident navigating my route.

Knowing that fellow runners, cyclistsand most importantly, driverscan see me.
And yes, being able to protect myself from other humans, but also from animals, as well.
