But that’s not exactly accurate, according to Kingsley.
“Frequent shampooing washes old, bacteria-laden oil off your hair,” explains Kinglsey.
“This stops too much oil from building up and collecting dirt and dust.”
Maintaining a healthy scalp promotes healthy hair growth and retention, she says.
