Place a large saucepan over medium heat.

Add the olive oil to the pan.

Add the celery salt, ground pepper and horseradish, stirring until the mixture is well combined.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for a minute more.

Remove from heat and add the Worcestershire sauce.

Pass the puree through a fine-mesh sieve.

Season to taste and refrigerate until cold, at least 2 hours or up to 24 hours.

Puree can be kept in an airtight container for up to two weeks.

For the cocktail (makes one cocktail):

Fill a shaker with ice.

Add vodka and puree and vigorously shake.
