And, you know, I dont relish being that crusty as a rule.

Are you still big on gardening?
I do a lot of the actual manual work on it.
I take care of the pool.
When we have a big gust of wind, Im out there skimming the leaves off the pool.
Obviously, I have a pool company who takes care of it every week.
But there are times when somebodys got to get out there and get that stuff off the pool!
Do you wish in some ways people didnt know how old you were?
Well, I never think about it in that way.
I dont think they know that I am in my 90s.
They just think, she must be of “a certain age” now, and theyd be right.
Ive never made any pretense of being younger than I am.
I am what I am.
Its OK. Ive made peace with myself.

Whats your social life like these days?
My children are a very important part of my life.

I saw her this morning.
She comes by my house a lot and so does my son, Anthony werethisclose.
Bea Arthur used to live out here, and we were very close friends.
I miss her, I miss her being around.
I have a few relatives, which is lovely nieces and so on.
We do lunch, as they say.
