Inspirations and Early Career
Bencids first short films were created with friends on low-budget video cameras.
During this time, he realized his passions lay in post-production rather than production itself.
Upon graduating, he worked at Rosewood, which Bencid describes as a full-service creative agency.
For the project, Bencid says he was flown from Los Angeles to New York practically overnight.
Everything happened very quickly, he says.
Future Aspirations
Bencid believes his upbringing has shaped his capabilities as a filmmaker.
Growing up in a country with many socio-political challenges instilled a relentless work ethic in him.
Deep and meaningful art usually comes from complex periods of time that are rich in change, Bencid says.
